Field Hockey Drops Home Game to No. 14 Williams

WORCESTER, Mass. – The Clark field hockey team (0-3) played their second home match of the season against No. 14 Williams (1-0) on Tuesday night from Granger Field and fell 8-0 to the Ephs.

How it Happened

  • First-year Loren Root recorded two early saves in the first quarter to keep Clark in the contest, but the Ephs added two goals in the first quarter to take a 2-0 lead.
  • Root again made three saves at the beginning of the second quarter and added three more saves before the half as Williams led 6-0.
  • First-year Alexandria Cacciapaglia registered three saves in the fourth quarter and first-year Alison Kopec recorded Clark's lone shot on goal of the contest in the 56th minute as Williams won 8-0.
