How it Happened

  • Clark took an early 6-0 lead as the Cougars got buckets from senior Jalin Waters, junior Alaina Schatzabel, and senior Sarah Zambrano before the Judges went on a 17-0 run that was stopped by a Schatzabel layup as Brandeis led 17-8.

  • Another Faulise jumper pulled Clark within five, but Brandeis pushed the lead back to 12 before a Faulise layup made it a 10-point game again and sophomore Megan Swedberg made Clark's final shot of the half with 1:23 remaining as Brandeis led 34-21 at the break.
  • The Judges scored the first six points of the third quarter before Waters ended the run with a made layup off a feed from senior Julianne Liebow and a jumper from Faulise made it a 42-25 contest with 5:45 left in the third.
