WORCESTER, Mass. – The Clark men's swimming and diving team hosted their first home meet of the year against Babson on Saturday afternoon from the Kneller Pool.
The Beavers won the day 176-49.
How it Happened
- Clark's A team of Nick Cordell, Sam Bier, Declan Hanscom, and Jonathan Solomon won the 200-yard freestyle relay with a time of 1:42.88.
- In the 200-yard medley relay, Rowan Compton, Bradyn Potter, Daniel Smith, and Michael Villalba clocked a time of 1:46.25, which placed third.
- Tyler Broderick placed third overall in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:05.50).
- Bier finished fourth in the 1000-yard freestyle with a mark of 11:12.97.
- In the 200-yard freestyle, Daniel Smith placed fourth with a time of 1:59.56.
- Potter (23.87) later finished fourth in the 50-yard freestyle and third in the 100-yard freestyle (53.21).
- Alex Bielecki placed second in the 500-yard freestyle (5:20.54) and later placed fourth overall with a time of 4:52.23 in the 400-yard IM.
- Compton (1:00.34) finished fourth overall in the 100-yard butterfly and third in the 500-yard freestyle (5:25.23).
- Villalba (1:02.87) later placed fourth in the 100-yard backstroke.
What's Next
Clark will return to the water on Friday, December 1 with a meet at the Gompei Invitational from WPI beginning at 10:00 a.m.
