  • After a scoreless sixth, junior Corey Giannelli came in to replace Gorczyca in the seventh and got out of a bases loaded jam to keep it a 3-0 game.
  • In the bottom of the eighth, Clark's bats came alive as senior Ryan Caulfield doubled to right field, first-year Brayden Hollinrake singled to left to create a first and third situation for senior Connor Rulnick.
  • Rulnick tripled to right center to plate Caulfield and Hollinrake to make it a 3-2 game before sophomore Tyler Jones hit a sacrifice bunt to score Rulnick and tie the game at 3-3.
  • Senior Nate Bonini tossed a scoreless top of the ninth and in the bottom of the ninth, Mooney singled to first base, Farrell doubled to left field, and senior Anthony Keefe was intentionally walked to load the bases with no outs.
