Box Score NORTON, Mass. – The Clark University baseball team (13-12, 4-2 NEWMAC) closed out their season series with Wheaton (19-4, 6-0 NEWMAC) on Tuesday afternoon and dropped the contest 10-2 to the Lyons from Sidell Stadium.
How it Happened
- Junior Billy Sullivan opened the game with a single to center field and reached second after a walk from senior Samuel Farrell, but the Lyons got out of the inning.
- Sophomore CJ Johnson and senior Anthony Keefe both singled in the second and a sophomore Tyler Jones walk loaded the bases before Wheaton got out of the jam.
- With Clark trailing 8-0 in the top of the sixth, graudate student Andrea Casabianca recorded an RBI as Farrell came around to score.
- Farrell drove in Clark's final run of the game to make it 8-2 in the top of the seventh with an RBI double that plated Jones, who had reached first on a single down the left field line.
