Box Score WORCESTER, Mass. – The Clark University women's lacrosse team (3-5, 0-3 NEWMAC) welcomed Babson (4-5, 2-1 NEWMAC) to Granger on Sunday afternoon and fell 25-0 to the Beavers.
How it Happened
- Senior Maddie Conners kept the game tied at 0-0 early as she stopped a free position shot from Kathryn Blake less than a minute into the contest.
- Conners recorded her second save of the game with 10:03 to go in the first before sophomore Meghan Fogarty nearly put Clark on the board as she fired a shot that was saved by Kathleen Murphy.
- With the Beavers owning a 3-0 lead, Conners stooped another shot to keep the deficit at three and recorded two more stops before the end of the first as Babson led 8-0.
- Junior Mary Greene caused a turnover early in the second and Conners stopped two more shots within the first six minutes of the quarter.
- Greene caused another turnover before the half and to open the third, sophomore Annie Battle was put in goal and recorded a save with 9:07 remaining in the quarter.
- In the fourth quarter, Battle registered another save and caused a turnover.

- The Cougars scooped up 11 ground balls and won five draw controls.
- Conners recorded eight saves and Battle added two.

The Cougars will close out non-conference play on Wednesday with a road game at Fitchburg State beginning at 4:00 p.m.
