Women's Lacrosse Falls to MIT in Road Finale

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Clark University women's lacrosse team (4-10, 1-7 NEWMAC) played their final road game of the season at MIT (14-2, 8-0 NEWMAC) and fell 25-0 to the Engineers from Jack Barry Field.

How it Happened

  • Junior Greer McCarty caused a turnover in the first minute of the game and senior Kiley Simmons put a shot on goal off a free position attempt that was stopped by Abigail Kolyer.
  • Sophomore Annie Battle recorded a save early in the first and McCarty caused another turnover later in the first as MIT took a 14-0 edge after one quarter of play.
  • First-year Victoria Holden registered a save in the second quarter and in the third, Battle re-entered and recorded a save.
