Men's Cross Country Closes Out Season at NCAA Regionals

HOPKINTON, N.H. – The Clark University men's cross country team closed out their 2024 season at the NCAA Regionals with a 23rd place finish on Saturday afternoon from the Hopkinton Fairgrounds.

The Cougars tallied a score of 652, placing just behind Wheaton and ahead of Emerson from the NEWMAC.

How it Happened
  • First-year Summit Smoker led the team with a time of 27:14.23 and placed 78th overall.
  • Sophomore Robert Burton posted a PR in the 8k with a mark of 27:54.1, finishing 107th.
  • Junior William Pulvino placed third on the squad with a time of 28:12.45, which was 119th overall.
  • Senior Kevin Braunwart finished fourth on the team after clocking a mark of 30:46.63 (174th overall).
  • Senior Evan Sucov (31:32.65), sophomore Gage Delgado (32:49.57), and graduate student Max Rosenfeld (33:19.25) rounded out the top seven.
