BABSON PARK, Mass. – The Clark women's swimming and diving team began the 2024-25 campaign against Babson and dropped the meet 206-72 to the Beavers on Saturday afternoon.

How it Happened

• Belle Roderick recorded a victrory in the one-meter dive with a score of 153.30.
• Abby Seguin also registered a first-place finish in the 50-yard butterfly with a time of 28.26.
• In the 200-yard medley relay, Seguin, Daizy Sweetman, Ivy Joyal, and Libby Davidson clocked a time of 1:59.75 to place third.
• Sweetman (34.03) and Charlotte Scott (37.66) finished second and third overall in the 50-yard breaststroke.
• Seguin registered a second-place finish with a time of 1:02.38 in the 100-yard butterfly and later placed second in the 100-yard backstroke (1:08.27).
• In the 50-yard freestyle, Davidson placed third overall after clocking a 26.13 and later finished second in the 100-yard freestyle (57.00).
• Sydney Kochensparger finished fourth overall in the 200-yard freestyle with a mark of 2:15.51.
• In the 50-yard backstroke, Amelia Kulzer (32.37), Brandy Mercado (34.51), and Hazel Thomas (34.62) finished fourth through sixth.
• Kulzer (1:08.85) and Thomas (1:14.17) placed third and fourth in the 100-yard backstroke.
• Sweetman later finished third in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:15.82.
• In the 500-yard freestyle, Kochensparger (6:00.96) and Sarah Tarinelli (6:28.45) placed fourth and fifth.
• Joyal (1:08.97), Sweetman (1:10.12), and Kulzer (1:11.95) rounded out the top six in the 100-yard individual medley.
• In the 200-yard freestyle relay, Davidson, Kochensparger, Annemaire Walsh, and Wynne Collins clocked a time of 1:50.95 to place third.

The Cougars will return to the water on Saturday when they compete at the Worcester City Championships beginning at 10:00 a.m. from WPI.
