CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Clark University women's tennis team (3-6, 0-3 NEWMAC) traveled to No. 17 MIT (7-3, 3-0 NEWMAC) for a road conference contest and fell 9-0 from the DuPont Tennis Courts.

Doubles: MIT 3, Clark 0

• Sophomore Merielle Kane and graduate student Maeve McEnroe competed in number one doubles and dropped the match 8-0.
• In number two doubles, sophomore Crisi Patel and first-year Olivia Shipley fell 8-0.
• First-year Winifred Gakidis and junior Emma Allen were edged 8-0 in their number three doubles contest.

Singles: MIT 6, Clark 0

• Senior Hannah Russo (No. 1), Shipley (No. 2), and McEnroe (No. 3) each took a game in their singles games, but fell 6-0, 6-1.
• Kane (No. 4), Gakidis (No. 5), and first-year Varvara Maltseva (No. 6) each dropped their matches 6-0, 6-0.

Clark will return to the court on Thursday when they welcome Salve Regina to Corash for a NEWMAC contest beginning at 3:00 p.m.
