NORTON, Mass. – The Clark men's swimming and diving team competed in their first meet of the weekend against Wheaton on Friday afternoon from the Balfour Natatorium.

How it Happened

• In the 200-yard medley relay, Samuel Bier, Theo Bayne, Daniel Smith, and Declan Hanscom finished third with a mark of 1:48.79.
• In the one-meter dive, Josh Forde won the event with a score of 92.40.
• Bayne tallied a victory in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:09.26.
• Bier (11:22.06), Nick Cordell (11:39.91), and Owen Powers (11:41.07) placed third through fifth in the 1000-yard freestyle event.
• Smith (1:03.10), Michael Villalba (1:04.67), and Cordell (1:04.99) all swam in the 100-yard backstroke.
• Villalba (2:06.88) and Declan Hanscom (2:10.34) finished fourth and fifth overall in the 200-yard freestyle.
• In the 50-yard freestyle, Smith (23.82) and Joseph Genovesi (25.60) registered third and fifth-place finishes in the event.
• Bayne (1:03.08) and Daniel Neau (1:16.81) tallied fourth and sixth-place marks in the 100-yard butterfly.
• Genovesi (1:00.15) and Gabriel Graphia (1:02.68) competed in the 100-yard freestyle event.
• Bier later competed in the 500-yard freestyle and clocked a time 5:25.29 to place third overall.
• In the 400-yard freestyle relay, Villalba, Cordell, Smith, and Bier finished second with a mark of 3:36.64.

Clark will be back in action tomorrow morning when they travel to Trinity to take on the Bantams and St. Joe's (Ct.)
