HARTFORD, Conn. – The Clark women's swimming and diving team registered a 177-89 victory over St. Joe's (Ct.) in a tri-meet with the Blue Jays and Bantams on Saturday afternoon from the Trinity Natatorium.
The Cougars recorded 12 first-place finishes against Saint Joe's on the day.
How it Happened
- In the 200-yard medley relay, Emily Munjar, Charlotte Scott, Hazel Thomas, and Wynne Collins finished fifth overall and topped the Blue Jays with a time of 2:04.19.
- Sydney Kochensparger (2:13.83) and Wynne Collins (2:14.55) finished first and second in the 200-yard freestyle.
- In the 50-yard backstroke, Munjar recorded a victory with a time of 31.50 over the Blue Jays and later won the 100-yard backstroke (1:06.67).
- Daizy Sweetman (34.73) and Scott (36.87) posted first and second place finishes in the 50-yard breaststroke.
- Annemaire Walsh (1:11.51) and Sarah Tarinelli (1:19.04) finished first and second overall in the 100-yard butterfly.
- Tarinelli placed second against St. Joe's with a mark of 12:57.33 in the 1000-yard freestyle event.
- In the 50-yard freestyle, Libby Davidson (26.47) recorded a victory.
- Belle Roderick finished second overall in the one-meter dive with a score of 177.95.
- Collins (59.02) and Davidson (59.57) tallied first and second place finishes in the 100-yard freestyle.
- In the 100-yard breaststroke, Sweetman (1:17.16) and Scott (1:19.65) recorded first and second-place marks.
- Kochensparger (5:54.96) and Tarinelli (6:18.08) also tallied first-place and second-place finishes in the 500-yard freestyle.
- Munjar (29.54) and Walsh (30.17) finished in the top two for the 50-yard butterfly event.
- In the 100-yard individual medley, Sweetman (1:11.85) and Scott (1:12.90) posted first and second-place finishes.
- In the 800-yard freestyle relay, Davidson, Thomas, Collins, and Kochensparger placed third overall with a time of 8:55.51.

The Cougars will be back in action on Saturday, January 25 when they travel to Brandeis for a meet starting at 2:00 p.m.
