NEW PALTZ, N.Y. – The Clark University volleyball team (1-19) traveled to New York for a pair of contests opening with Montclair State (23-4) and ending with SUNY New Paltz (13-11) as the Cougars dropped both matches on Saturday afternoon from the Hawk Center.

Montclair State 3, Clark 0

• The scarlet and white recorded 20 kills, 19 assists, 43 digs, 11 service aces, and five blocks.
• Sophomore Isabella Alcott led the team with seven kills and 13 digs.
• Junior Harper Chinn finished second on the squad with four kills and led the way with five service aces.
• Junior Julia Dopazo (10) and sophomore Hannah Harrington (4) registered the team lead in assists.
• Sophomore Abigail Venis (3) and first-year Rylie Kimball (3) tied for the team high in blocks.
• Chinn (10) and senior Yumeng Liu (7) added digs.

SUNY New Paltz 3, Clark 0

• Clark recorded 19 kills, 16 assists, 41 digs, two service aces, and three blocks.
• Chinn and Alcott tied for the team lead with seven kills.
• Dopazo (9) and Harrington (5) led the squad in assists.
• Liu (7), Chinn (6), and junior Defne Olcer (6) finished in the top three in digs.
• Chinn and junior Winifred Gakidis each registered service aces.

What's Next
The Cougars will return to the court on Tuesday night when they travel to Springfield for a conference contest against the Pride beginning at 7:00 p.m.
