Women's Basketball Unveils 2025-26 Schedule

WORCESTER, Mass. – Clark University women's basketball head coach Bridgette Reyes announced the Cougars 2025-26 schedule on Friday afternoon.

The scarlet and white are set to compete in 25 contests this season, with 14 at home and 11 on the road.

"We are very excited for the 25-26 women's basketball season," said Reyes. "The combination of a tough NEWMAC conference and a very competitive non-conference schedule will be a good challenge our team. With half of our team being newcomers and the other half returners, we are anticipating a year filled with drive and competitiveness. We will be molding our identity as a new team and are happy to have the rallying support of our students, families, and friends."

The Cougars will open their season on Friday, November 7 as they host Anna Maria in the opening round of the Worcester City Tournament beginning at 5:00 p.m. Depending on the result of the Friday night game, Clark will either play Worcester State or WPI on Saturday, November 8.

The scarlet and white will then travel to Fitchburg State for their first road match of the season on Wednesday, November 12. After a home game against Curry (11/15), the Cougars will compete in a pair of non-conference games on the road opening with UNE (11/17) and ending with Salem State (11/22).

Four of Clark's next five games will be played inside the Kneller as they welcome Wesleyan (11/25), Emmanuel (12/6), Framingham State (12/9), and Suffolk (12/30) with a road contest at Brandeis (12/3) sprinkled in between.

The Cougars will open the 2026 portion of their schedule with road games at Trinity (1/3) and Connecticut College (1/6) before closing out non-conference play with a home match against Fisher College (1/14).

Clark begins NEWMAC play on Saturday, January 17 with a home contest against MIT before welcoming Wheaton (1/21) to the Kneller in a conference clash. After road games at Mount Holyoke (1/24) and Springfield (1/28), the Cougars close out January with a home contest against Coast Guard (1/31).

The scarlet and white will open the month of February with a home game against Salve Regina (2/4). The Cougars then travel to Smith (2/7) and Wellesley (2/11) before playing their final two home contests of the season against Babson (2/14) and Emerson (2/18). The team will end their regular season with a road NEWMAC game at WPI (2/21).
