NEWPORT, R.I. – Clark University men's soccer (5-9-3, 1-5-2 NEWMAC) traveled to Salve Regina University (6-3-6, 2-2-3 NEWMAC) to close out their regular season slate. The Seahawks struck early and maintained control throughout, cruising to a 4-0 victory.

Clark had the first chance in the 2nd minute as sophomore Jordan Adeyemi put a shot on goal.

Salve Regina answered in the 9th minute when Aaron Muncaster converted on a rocket from well outside the 18 to make it 1-0.

Adeyemi added another shot on goal in the 14th minute, but it was once again turned away.

In the 18th minute, the Seahawks doubled their lead when a corner from Luke Woodward found the head of Joe Louge for a flying finish to make it 2-0.

First-year Brendan Stevenson and senior Henry Kuerbis each added shots on goal later in the half, but none found the back of the net as Clark entered halftime trailing by two.

After a shot from first-year Jacob Ordonez was saved in the 51st minute, Salve struck again a minute later as Lincoln Freeman stole the ball in front of goal and set up Kyle Crawford for the empty-net finish to make it 3-0.

The Cougars fired three shots on goal between the 67th and 71st minutes but were once again denied.

Salve added their final goal in the 75th minute when Ty Ferris sent a cross to Michael Bagley on the far post for the header finish to make it 4-0.

Clark added one more shot on goal in the 88th minute off the foot of Kuerbis but ultimately came up empty as the Seahawks secured the 4-0 win.
