WORCESTER, Mass. – The Clark men's swimming and diving team competed in their second home meet of the season against Husson and were bested 163-105 despite three individual first-place finishers on Saturday afternoon from the Kneller Pool.
How it Happened
- In the 200-yard medley relay, Samuel Bier, Morgan Murray, Declan Hanscom, and Michael Villalba placed second overall with a mark of 1:48.81.
- Owen Powers won the 200-yard butterfly (2:26.07) and Gabriel Graphia (2:45.41) placed third.
- Murray (2:25.49) registered a victory in the 200-yard breaststroke.
- In the 500-yard freestyle, Bier won the event with a mark of 5:25.39 and Nick Cordell placed third.
- Max Klein finished second in the 1,000-yard freestyle with a time of 11:47.04 and Owen Powers placed fourth (12:15.63).
- Villalba (1:59.72), Cordell (1:59.99), and Hanscom (2:10.09) all placed in the top five in the 200-yard freestyle event.
- Bier (27.89) and Klein (32.11) finished second and fourth respectively in the 50-yard backstroke.
- In the 50-yard breaststroke, Murray (29.41) and Bradyn Potter (31.45) placed second and third.
- Potter (24.12) and Cordell (25.69) finished second and third in the 50-yard freestyle.
- In the 100-yard freestyle, Potter placed second with a mark of 53.78 and Graphia (57.91) finished fourth.
- Bier (2:15.00) and Villalba (2:21.23) finished second and third overall in the 200-yard backstroke.
- Hanscom (27.61) and junior Daniel Neau (31.21) placed third and fifth in the 50-yard butterfly.
- Murray (2:15.63) and Powers (2:35.00) finished second and third in the 200-yard individual medley.
- Clark closed out the day in the 400-yard freestyle relay and placed second as Villalba, Potter, Hanscom, and Cordell posted a time of 3:38.21.

The scarlet and white will be back in action on Friday, December 5 when they travel to WPI for the first day of the Gompei Invitational beginning at 10:00 a.m.
