WORCESTER, Mass. – The Clark men's swimming and diving team completed day two of the 2025 NEWMAC Championships from WPI on Friday and currently sit in seventh place with 130 points.

How it Happened

• The Cougars opened the day in the 200-yard freestyle relay, junior Daniel Smith, senior Evan Sucov, junior Nick Cordell, and sophomore Owen Powers clocked a time of 1:36.13 and later improved to a mark of 1:34.88.
• In the 500-yard freestyle event, sophomore Samuel Bier (5:02.26), senior Rowan Compton (5:07.19), Cordell (5:12.39), sophomore Michael Villalba (5:18.07), Powers (5:27.78), and sophomore Daniel Neau (5:55.32) all competed in the preliminaries.
• First-year Theodore Bayne swam for the scarlet and white in the 200-yard individual medley and posted a time of 2:08.74.
• In the 50-yard freestyle event, Sucov (23.61), Smith (23.86), first-year Joseph Genovesi (24.37), sophomore Declan Hanscom (25.08), and first-year Gabriel Graphia (27.10) all competed for the scarlet and white.
• Clark closed out the day in the 400-yard medley relay as Bier, Bayne, Compton, and Sucov recorded a time of 3:54.51 and later improved to a 3:48.36 mark.

What's Next
The Cougars will be back in action tomorrow morning for the third day of the NEWMAC Championships beginning at 10:00 a.m. from WPI.
