Abby Seguin and first-year
Daizy Sweetman each reach the finals on day three of the 2025 NEWMAC Championships.
The Cougars are currently in 10th place with a score of 140.5.
How it Happened
- In the 100-yard butterfly, sophomore Abby Seguin qualified for the final with a time of 58.78 and later finished second in the B final with an improved mark of 58.63.
- First-year Daizy Sweetman qualified for the finals in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:11.58 and later clocked a 1:11.64 in the final.
- Senior Emily Munjar (1:04.61), senior Annemaire Walsh (1:05.95), and sophomore Sarah Tarinelli (1:13.44) also competed in the 100-yard butterfly.
- In the 200-yard freestyle preliminaries, senior Sydney Kochensparger (2:02.22), junior Wynne Collins (2:03.58), and sophomore Libby Davidson (2:04.56) all swam.
- First-year Charlotte Scott recorded a mark of 1:16.44 in the 100-yard breaststroke preliminaries.
- In the 100-yard backstroke, Munjar (1:03.28) and first-year Hazel Thomas (1:11.93) each competed.
- In the 200-yard medley relay, Munjar, Sweetman, Seguin, and Davidson clocked a time of 1:53.31.
