WORCESTER, Mass. – The No. 2 Clark men's basketball team is slated to compete in the NEWMAC Tournament Semifinals when they welcome No. 6 Coast Guard to the Kneller for a contest beginning at 7:00 p.m.

The Cougars have now reached the NEWMAC Semifinals in three straight seasons and will host the Semifinal for the second consecutive season. This is Clark's 10th all-time appearance in the NEWMAC Semifinals and are 2-1 all-time in the Tournament against Coast Guard.

Regular Season Meetings
Clark and Coast Guard both recorded home wins during their regular season series. The Bears won the first matchup of the year 77-75 and the Cougars recorded a 68-50 victory at the Kneller. In the first matchup, Coast Guard's Declan Rooney (23) and Luke Farrell (21) each tallied over 20 points. Senior Bruce Saintilus led the way for Clark with 20 points and dished out six assists. Fellow senior Kekoa McArdle (14) and sophomore Quentin Pridgen (11) each reached double-figures. In the contest at Clark, McArdle tallied a double-double with 14 rebounds and 11 points. Saintilus (14) and first-year Boluwasefe John (10) each reached double-digits. Ben Yagey (14) and Aiden Dabbondanza (11) led the Bears in the second game.

Scouting the Cougars

• No. 2 Clark enters the NEWMACs as the two-seed with 12 conference wins during the regular season and posted 11 victories inside the Kneller
• The Cougars lead the league in three-pointers made (244), steals per night (8.2), assists per contest (15.2), and rebounds per game (40.3), rank second in the conference in points per game (75.6), field goals made (671), opponent three-pointer percentage (31.7)

Scouting the Bears

• No. 6 Coast Guard advanced to the NEWMAC Semifinals with an 80-69 victory over No. 3 Babson on Tuesday night
• Farrell recorded a double-double with 20 points and 10 rebounds, while shooting 7-11 from the floor.
• Elijah Parent (15), Trevor Parks (15), and Colin Huang (11) also reached double-figures in the win against Babson
• The Bears average 71.5 points, 36.1 rebounds, 13.6 assists, and 7.1 steals per game while allowing 75.3 points per contest
• Farrell leads the team in both points (14.3) and rebounds (6.0) per night, including a career-high 37 points against MIT
