Seven Named to NEWMAC Spring Sportsmanship Team

MARLBOROUGH, Mass. – Seven Clark University student-athletes were recognized when the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) announced the 2025 Spring Season Sportsmanship Team.

The award recognizes one student-athlete from each institution in every sport that best demonstrates the ideals of the NEWMAC and its Code of Conduct, regardless of his/her overall performance or statistics for the season.

The seven student-athletes who garnered this recognition include senior Seneca Hillock-Lonstein (Baseball), junior Brett Newman (Men's Lacrosse), senior Ryan Hovey (Men's Tennis), junior Anna Cavanagh (Rowing), junior Sydney Lyons (Softball), graduate student Greer McCarty (Women's Lacrosse), and junior Merielle Kane (Women's Tennis).
