ATTLEBORO, Mass. – Clark University women's cross country began the 2025 campaign on Saturday morning at the Suffolk Short Course Classic from Highland Park in the 3k event.

How it Happened

• Junior Nicole Steele led the Cougars with a 69th place finish after clocking a time of 12:41.28.
• Senior Siobhan Connolly placed second on the squad and 91st overall with a mark of 13:01.27.
• Junior Mary Elena Morales (13:23.21) and senior Abigail Gahagan (13:33.40) finished third and fourth on the squad.
• Senior Emmy Udry (14:37.36), junior Melody Gomez (14:40.08), and sophomore Antonia Schneider (15:33.29) rounded out the top seven.
• Juniors Fatima Soussi (15:36.54) and Lily Vincent (16:17.10) also competed for the scarlet and white.

The Cougars will return to action on Saturday morning when they compete in the Trinity Invitational beginning at 10:30 a.m.
