HARTFORD, Conn. – The Clark University women's cross country team traveled to Connecticut for their second event of the 2025 campaign and recorded a seventh-place finish at the George Suitor Invitational from Wickham Park on Saturday morning.
The scarlet and white (198) finished just behind UMass Dartmouth (169) and ahead of Roger Williams (212).
How it Happened
- Junior Nicole Steele led the Cougars for the second straight week with a time of 21:33.60, which placed 27th overall.
- Fellow junior Mary Elena Morales finished second on the team and 53rd overall with a mark of 23:09.10.
- Senior Siobhan Connolly ranked third on the squad with a time of 23:15.50, which was good for 57th overall.
- Fellow senior Abigail Gahagan finished just behind Connolly at 59th, clocking a 23:28.30.
- Senior Emmy Udry (25:15.10), junior Melody Gomez (26:09.50), and junior Fatima Soussi (27:06.50) rounded out the top seven.
- Sophomore Anthonia Schneider (28:46.10) and junior Lily Vincent (29:17.60) also competed for the scarlet and white.
What's Next
Clark will be back in action on Saturday, September 20, when they travel to UMass Dartmouth for a meet beginning at 12:00 p.m. from the Robert Dowd Course.
