Box Score FRAMINGHAM, Mass. – The Clark University women's soccer (2-0-0) netted five goals in the first half and five in the second as the scarlet and white registered a convincing 10-0 win over Framingham State (0-1-1) on Wednesday afternoon from Maple Street Field.

The 10 goals scored were the most in a match since 2017 when they also tallied 10 goals in a victory over Newbury College.

How it Happened

• The Cougars struck first in the sixth minute when first-year Solimar Rivera beat the Ram defense down the left side of the field, passed the ball over to sophomore Georgia Louis and Louis put the ball past the goalie to her left as Clark led 1-0.
• Rivera picked up her second assist of the afternoon as she received a pass from junior Ainsley Golini and found senior Emma Shaughnessy and Shaughnessy struck the ball into the back left corner of the net to extend the edge to 2-0 in the 12th minute.
• In the 15th minute, Rivera played the ball in the middle of the pitch and found Golini on her right before Golini found the back right side of the goal to give the Cougars a 3-0 advantage.
• Junior Gabrielle Huryn tallied her first save of the match in the 16th minute and seven minutes later Clark struck again as Louis received a pass from Shaughnessy, fired a shot, and the Ram defender fired the ball into the back of her own net as the Cougars led 4-0.
• Huryn recorded two more saves before first-year Calabria Augustino dribbled to her right just outside of the box and found the back left side of the net as the scarlet and white took a 5-0 lead into the half.
• Less than a minute into the second half, Rivera fired a shot from the 30-yard line on the Ram football field and put the ball in the top right corner of the net as Clark pushed the advantage to 6-0.
• In the 55th minute, Louis fired a ball in from the left side of the box that found the foot of Rivera and Rivera flipped the ball to the right side of the net as the Cougars led 7-0.
• Golini found the back of the net off a corner serviced in by Augustino and Louis scored off a feed from Golini in the 62nd minute to help take a 9-0 lead.
• First-year Marcela Gonyea tallied her first career goal in the 75th minute off a shot from the middle of the pitch for the scarlet and white's 10th goal.
• Over the remainder of the game, senior Gabriella Herivaux fired four shots on goal, sophomore Delaney Schappert, and senior Cassidy Hubbard put one on target that was stopped.
