SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. – The Clark men's swimming and diving team opened the 2026 portion of their schedule with a meet against Wheaton on Friday from the MHC Natatorium.

How it Happened

• In the 200-yard medley relay, Morgan Murray, Theodore Bayne, Michael Villalba, and Sam Bier placed third with a mark of 1:50.07.
• Nick Cordell (11:20.60) and Bier (11:53.40) finished second and fourth respectively in the 1,000-yard freestyle event.
• Murray clocked a time of 1:03.80 in the 100-yard breaststroke, which was good for second.
• Declan Hanscom (2:07.66) and Daniel Neau (2:31.33) placed fifth and sixth in the 200-yard freestyle.
• Bradyn Potter finished fourth in the 50-yard freestyle with a mark of 24.66 and the 100-yard freestyle (55.55).
• In the 200-yard individual medley, Max Klein (2:23.70) and Joseph Genovesi (2:38.45) placed fifth and sixth.
• Murray (58.36) and Bayne (1:02.57) later competed in the 100-yard butterfly.
• Bier (1:00.41) and Genovesi (1:10.90) finished fifth and sixth in the 100-yard backstroke.
• In the 500-yard freestyle, Cordell (5:29.53) and Hanscom (6:14.45) ended fourth and fifth.
• In the 400-yard freestyle relay, Potter, Cordell, Hanscom, and Klein clocked a time of 3:43.96.

What's Next
The scarlet and white will be back in action tomorrow afternoon when they welcome Saint Joseph's (Ct.) to the Kneller for a meet beginning at 1:00 p.m.
