Baseball Releases 2026 Schedule

WORCESTER, Mass. – Clark University baseball head coach Billy Cather released the 2026 schedule on Wednesday afternoon.

The Cougars are set to compete in 39 games, with 21 at home and 18 on the road. The scarlet and white return 29 players from last year's team, including senior Dom Mariani who was named to the All-NEWMAC Second Team last year after batting .378, driving in 40 runs, and tallying 54 hits. Senior Brayden Hollinrake and junior Michael Salzillo each return after batting over .300. Sophomore Robby Roth logged 48.0 innings pitched and earned five wins on the bump.

Clark will open the 2026 season on Sunday, February 22 when they welcome Elms to Granger for a doubleheader beginning at 12:00 p.m. The Cougars then head to Florida to play seven contests opening with St. John Fisher (Mar. 1), then Grove City (Mar. 2), doubleheaders against Allegheny (Mar. 3) and Cornell College (Mar. 6), and close against Gwynedd Mercy (Mar. 7).

After returning from Florida, Clark will host four straight games beginning with Mass. Maritime (Mar. 11), then Amherst (Mar. 12), and closing with a doubleheader against New England College (Mar. 14). After a road game at Mitchell (Mar. 17), Clark will host St. Joe's Me. (Mar. 18) and Castleton (Mar. 19) before heading to Hartford (Mar. 21) for a doubleheader.

The Cougars open NEWMAC play on March 24 when they welcome Coast Guard to Granger for a contest beginning at 3:30 p.m. After a home game against Nichols (Mar. 25), Clark travels to Coast Guard to close out their season series (Mar. 31). The scarlet and white then host St. Joe's Ct. (Apr. 1) before hosting their first conference doubleheader against Salve Regina (Apr. 4).

Clark then welcomes MIT (Apr. 7) and Dean (Apr. 8) to Granger before traveling to Southern Maine (Apr. 9). After a home NEWMAC doubleheader against Springfield (Apr. 11), the Cougars will close out their season series at MIT (Apr. 14).

The scarlet and white welcome WPI (Apr. 18) down Park Ave for a Saturday series before traveling to the NEBC for a contest against Emerson (Apr. 21). Clark then hosts WNE (Apr. 22) before traveling to Babson (Apr. 25) for a weekend doubleheader before hosting their final game of the year against Emerson (Apr. 28). The regular season ends on Saturday, May 2 when they travel to Wheaton for a doubleheader.
