Men's Basketball Unveils 2026-27 Schedule

WORCESTER, Mass. – Clark University men's basketball head coach Michael Mailhot released the Cougars 2026-27 schedule on Friday morning.

The scarlet and white will compete in 25 contests this year, with 13 at home and 12 on the road. "We're excited about the challenges and opportunities that this schedule presents for us," said Mailhot. "We'll be competing against quality opponents that will help prepare us for NEWMAC play. Every game is an opportunity for us to grow, establish our identity, and get better as a team. We're excited to get the season started and see what this group can accomplish together."

The Cougars will open the season by traveling to Maine for a pair of games, starting at St. Joseph's Maine (Nov. 7) before ending the trip against Husson (Nov. 8). Clark's home opener will be on Wednesday, November 11 when they welcome Roger Williams to the Kneller.

After an away contest at Nichols (Nov. 14), Clark will return home for three straight games as they open with Western Connecticut (Nov. 17), then RIC (Nov. 19), before concluding against Brandeis (Nov. 24).

The Cougars will open NEWMAC play on December 2 on the road at MIT. Clark then plays their first home conference fixture of the year against WPI (Dec. 5). The scarlet and white are set to close out the 2026 portion of their schedule on the road at Brandeis (Dec. 7) and at home against Tufts (Dec. 30), which is their final non-conference game of the year.

Clark then opens 2027 with a pair of conference contests vs. Babson (Jan. 6) and Salve Regina (Jan. 9) before traveling to Coast Guard (Jan. 12). The Cougars return to the Kneller for games against Emerson (Jan. 14) and Wheaton (Jan. 16) before the team concludes the first portion of NEWMAC play at Springfield (Jan. 19).

The scarlet and white will then host MIT (Jan. 23) and then will travel to both WPI (Jan. 27) and Babson (Jan. 30). Clark opens February at Salve Regina (Feb. 3) before hosting Coast Guard (Feb. 6). The Cougars will close out the regular season with road contests at Wheaton (Feb. 10) and Emerson (Feb. 13) before hosting Springfield (Feb. 17) in the finale.
