WEST HARTFORD, Conn. – Clark University women's cross country traveled to Hartford for their second race of the season Saturday Morning, with seven runners competing in the 3K and three of those runners setting career-bests.  

How it Happened 

• Senior Nicole Steele cracked the top 25 with a time of 12:26.9, a new career-best mark for Steele. 

• First-year Rebecca Machado crossed the line next with a time of 12:52.9. 

• Senior Mary Elena Morales (13:50.7), sophomore Lilianna Perin (14:32.9), and junior Emma St. Louis (15:21.1) were the next three across for the Cougars. 

• Junior Antonia Schneider (15:27.5) and senior Lily Vincent (15:43.9) closed out the race for Clark, each setting career-bests in the process.

The Scarlet and White travel to Smith College for the Ellen O'Neil Invitational, beginning at 10:00 AM.
