Clark University

Hicks enters his 30th season on the Cougar sidelines.

Hicks started coaching with the Cougars in 1988 and has assisted four Clark head coaches and been apart of five trips to the NCAA tournament.

His primary responsibilities include working with Cougar post players, and assisting in the areas of scouting and recruiting.
 
A former four-year (1982-86) standout with the Cougars, Hicks was part of four teams that advanced to the NCAA Tournament, including a trip to the Elite Eight in 1984 and a berth in the National Finals in 1986 - a season in which he was the team’s top rebounder (6.1). Earlier in the season he had a team-high 16 points in an upset victory over Division I Yale University.

Hicks is a 1986 graduate of Clark University with a degree in computer science and works for Verizon Communications in the business departement as a 911 service manager.
