Renato Rosas

Renato Rosas joined the men's soccer coaching staff in 2019 and enters his second season in the 2020-21 season. In his first season as an assistant coach, he helped head coach Matt O’Toole lead the Cougars to a semifinal and a third-place finish in the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC).

Prior to Clark, Rosas spent two seasons as a graduate assistant coach at Regis College in Weston, Mass. As the first assistant to the men’s team, he also served as an event operations manager. He promoted the college through the recruitment and retention of over 40 student-athletes through the domestic territories of New England, the west coast, southeast, and Puerto Rico. Alongside the head coach, Renato Capobianco, Rosas helped lead the Pride to two consecutive conference playoff appearances and an 18-14-3 overall record.

Rosas brings club soccer experience to the Cougars as well. He has coached for Seacoast United, GPS, and currently at NEFC in the MetroWest region with his U15 and U17 boys’ team. Rosas has also completed the United Soccer Coaches National Diploma.

A four-year career at Regis College saw Rosas captain the team for his junior and senior year while earning all-conference first and second-team honors, he also holds a record for starting 75 of 75 games. Rosas is a Fort Lauderdale, Fla. native and graduated from Regis College in 2016 with a B.A. in Psychology. He completed his M.S. in Professional and Organizational Communication at Regis College in 2019.
