Curry Gets By Cougars, 13-8

Milton, Mass. - Curry College sophomore Evan Hammersley scored a game-high four goals and senior Paul Marchese added three more to lift the host Colonels to a 13-8 win over visiting Clark on Wednesday afternoon on Katz Field.

The loss for the Cougars is their third straight as they look for their first win under head coach Jeff Cohen.

Clark's offense was paced by senior Chris Adams (Bradford, N.H.), who tallied three goals, while sophomore Phil Winslow (Providence, R.I.) added a goal and a pair of helpers.

The Cougars, down 4-2 at the half, got right back in the game in the third period, but the Colonels netted five goals in the fourth period to secure their third win of the season.

Andrew DeVito (Glastonbury, Conn.) made 17 saves for Clark, who returns to action on Tuesday when they host UMass-Dartmouth beginning at 6:30 p.m.
