Evan Hammersley scored a game-high four goals and senior Paul
Marchese added three more to lift the host Colonels to a 13-8 win
over visiting Clark on Wednesday afternoon on Katz Field.
The loss for the Cougars is their third straight as they look for
their first win under head coach Jeff Cohen.
Clark's offense was paced by senior Chris
Adams (Bradford, N.H.), who tallied three goals, while
sophomore Phil
Winslow (Providence, R.I.) added a goal and a pair of
helpers.
The Cougars, down 4-2 at the half, got right back in the game in
the third period, but the Colonels netted five goals in the fourth
period to secure their third win of the season.
Andrew
DeVito (Glastonbury, Conn.) made 17 saves for Clark,
who returns to action on Tuesday when they host UMass-Dartmouth
beginning at 6:30 p.m.
