Wenham, Mass. - Host Gordon College rallied
from a 2-1 deficit following doubles play to secure a 5-4 win over
visiting Clark University on Monday afternoon.
The Fighting Scots improve to 7-9 with the win, while the Cougars
slip to 4-6 following their second two-game win streak of the
season. Things seemed to be in Clark's favor after Diego
Angel and Harris
Rollinger won at No. 1 doubles and Phillip
Porter and Aaron
Chin followed suit at No. 3.
Angel and Dan
Paradee at No. 1 and No. 3 respectively, won their
singles matches in straight sets, but Gordon took singles No. 2,
No. 4, No. 5 and No. 6 to secure the victory.
Clark returns to the court with their final regular season matchup
on Wednesday with a home contest against NEWMAC power MIT.
