Bridgewater, Mass. - Host Bridgewater State swept the three doubles matches en route to a convincing 8-1 win over visiting Clark University in non-conference men's tennis action on Monday afternoon at the Dr. Henry Rosen Memorial Tennis Courts.

The Bears rolled through the singles matches, winning in straight sets at No. 1, No. 2 and No. 3 before Dan Paradee (Gardiner, Maine) took the first set, 6-2 before falling in the second, 7-6. The third set was a marathon with the Bears' Adam Laithy eventually taking it, 11-9.

The Cougars' lone victory came at No. 6 singles where senior Marcus Abramson (Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.), collected a 6-4, 2-6, 10-6 win.
