Keene, N.H. – Erika Roth (Saco, Maine) led the Clark University women's cross country contingent with a 20th place finish, helping the Cougars to an eighth place finish at the annual Keene State Alumni Invitational on Saturday morning.
MIT's Alexandra Taylor crossed the line first, completing the layout in 11:29.
Roth completed the two mile course in 12:49, nearly 30 seconds faster than her time from a season ago.
She was followed by Zoe Greenberg (Arlington, Mass.) in 42nd place in a time of 13:31 and Abby Grieco (Hardsyton, N.J.) in 47th place (13:44).
Marlena Springstubb (Oceanside, N.Y.) and Maya Grevatt (Charlotte, Vt.) wrapped up the Cougar scoring contingent in 57th and 60th places, respectively.
The Cougars will be back in action next week at the Smith College Invitational.
