Cougars Sew Up No. 3 Seed After 6-3 Win Over Wheaton

Norton, Mass. - Visiting Clark University won two of the three doubles matches en route to a key 6-3 win over host Wheaton College on Saturday in New England Women's And Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) men's tennis action.

In today's meeting with the Lyons, Dan Stein (Newton, Mass.) and Zack Goodstein (Columbus, Ohio) topped Dan Sharon and Will White in a hard fought meeting at No. 1, eventually collecting a 9-8 (7-5) win.

Antoine Martin (Bryn Mawr, Pa.) and Spencer Pinkney (Falmouth, Mass.) then took care of Lawrence Chan and David Gassen, 8-4, at No. 2, before Sherver Archer and Ned Terrace got by Josh Burger (Fairfield, Conn.) and Fernando Pinoargote (Guayaquil, Ecuador).
