Worcester, Mass. – Visiting Babson College dropped just three games in doubles action on their way to a convincing 9-0 win over Clark University in New England Women's And Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) men's tennis action on Saturday afternoon at the Corash Tennis Courts.
The win for the Beavers snaps a brief two match losing streak, sending their overall record to 4-6, while the Cougars now sit at 5-10.
In doubles action, the Beavers swept through the three matches with ease, including getting an 8-0 win at No. 2 as Brandon Rosenbluth and Isaac Thylen topped Andrey Samodaev (Boca Raton, Fla.) and Lenny Siegel (Boca Raton, Fla.).
Things continued that way in the singles flights with the Beavers rolling to easy victories all around. Clark put up the biggest fight courtesy of Spencer Pinkney (Falmouth, Mass.) at No. 3, where he fell 6-3, 6-4.
The Cougars will be back in action on Monday when they face Gordon College at 3:30 p.m.
