-The Lead: The Clark University men's tennis team fell to Ogelthorpe University in a match in Orlando, Fla. on Monday afternoon. Freshman Jose Dalla-Valle (Miami, Fla.) and junior Andrey Samodaev (Boca Raton, Fla.) earned Clark's loan victory of the day at #2 Doubles.

HOW IT HAPPENED

-Walker Benson and Richard Johnson earned Oglethorpe's first victory when they shut-out freshman Christian Ruebens (Cheshire, Conn.) and senior Lenny Siegel (Boca Raton, Fla.), 7-0, at #1 Doubles.

-Clark's Dalla-Valle and Samodaev fought to an 8-6 victory over Judd Motz and Michael Santaloci at #2 Doubles to tie the day up at 1-1.

-Dustin Bowie and Calvin Schneider went on to take another shutout for Oglethorpe at #3 Doubles when they downed sophomores Jack Han (Bakersfield, Calif.) and Alex Hattenbach (Wilton, Conn.), 8-0.

-Motz outlasted Ruebens in #1 Singles when he took a 7-5 and 6-1 victory.

-Dalla-Valle put up a fight at #2 singles but Bowie took the ultimate 6-3, 7-5, and 10-2 victory.

-Johnson, Benson, Santaloci and Zoe Raymond claimed victories at #3, #4, #5, and #6 singles respectively.

-Clark plays two matches on Tuesday, March 6th. They take on Elizabethtown University at 11:30 a.m. and Aquinas at 6:30 p.m. in Orlando, Fla.
