Box Score Worcester, Mass.- Clark University Men's Soccer (7-5-3) (1-1-3 NEWMAC) fell to the Pride of Springfield College (8-5-0) (3-2-0 NEWMAC) at Granger Field Saturday afternoon.
Sophomore Anyolo Makatiani lead the way for the Cougars offensively, taking four shots and placing two on goal.

In the eighth minute, Springfield got their first look at the goal when senior Andrew Ma fired off a shot that was stopped by Clark's keeper, graduate student Melvin Vincent.

The Cougars got a great look at the goal in the 21st minute when senior Brian Brennan set up graduate student Alex Nicholson for the shot that sailed just north of the crossbar.

In the 30th minute, Clark found themselves on the attack with an offensive set that resulted in sophomore Anyolo Makatani placing a shot on net that was saved by Springfield's junior keeper Clayton Knibbs.

68 minutes into play, Clark got another great look when senior Derek Jones put a shot on net, sending it just over the crossbar.

After 73 minute of scoreless play, Springfield got on the board when Ma buried a shot inside the far post.

In the 89th minute Springfield added to their lead when sophomore Finn Welch finished a pass from Derick Arhin.
