WORCESTER, Mass. - Clark men's soccer (7-7-3, 1-3-3 NEWMAC) dropped their regular season final by a 3-1 margin to Wheaton (12-5, 3-4 NEWMAC) on Saturday afternoon from Keefe Field.

How it Happened

• Graduate student Melvin Vincent recorded an early save and graduate student Patrick Clark fired a shot on goal that was saved in the 16th minute before first-year Lucas Saia scored off a nice pass from junior Ethan Furphy in the 19th minute to give Clark a 1-0 lead.
• Saia fired another shot on goal in the 25th minute that was saved and Vincent added another save before the half as Clark led 1-0.
• The Lyons tied the game early in the second half off a free kick from Luca De Castro in the 48th minute and Patrick Clark nearly extended the lead in the 63rd minute, but had his shot saved.
• Wheaton took the lead in the 65th minute on a shot from Ewan Noble and Alex Nickerson pushed the lead to 3-1 in the 79th minute.
• Vincent made saves in the 84th and 86th and first-year Tyler Manley fired a shot that was saved.
