Men's Tennis Falls to Stonehill on Tuesday

EASTON, Mass. – The Clark men's tennis team (0-2) competed in their second event of the year against Stonehill (3-0), but fell 7-0 to the Skyhawks on Tuesday afternoon from the Charles Watt Tennis Courts.

How it Happened

  • Senior Dariy Vykhodstev and first-year Graham Russo recorded their second number one doubles win of the season with a 6-3 win.
  • Sophomores Aiden Hurtado and Ryan Hovey (0-6) competed in number two doubles and senior Sam Pomann and graduate student Max Schweitzer played in number three doubles (3-6) and were edged as Stonehill took the doubles point.
  • Vykhodstev (No. 1), Russo (No. 2), Hovey (No. 3), Pomann (No. 4), Schweitzer (No. 5), and Hurtado (No. 6) all lost in straight sets in singles.

What's Next

The Cougars will close out the fall with a home match against Assumption beginning at 3:30 p.m.
