Box Score SALEM, Mass. - Clark men's soccer (2-8-3) traveled to Salem State (8-3-2) for their final non-conference match of the year and fell 2-0 to the Vikings on Wednesday night from Alumni Field.

How it Happened

• Sophomore Diego Marin recorded the first save of the in the third minute off a shot from Brendan Davis and sophomore Henry Kuerbis put a shot on goal in the seventh minute that was stopped.
• Junior Colin Ruiz nearly gave Clark the lead with a shot in the 14th minute, but Matt Hauntsman came away with the save and Marin stopped a Viking shot a minute later to keep the match tied.
• After Salem State scored their first goal, senior Anyolo Makatiani fired a shot that was saved in the 28th minute and Marin recorded a save in the final seconds of the half to keep the deficit at 1-0.
• Out of the half, sophomore Mauro Perez Colon nearly tied the match in the 59th minute, but Hauntsman came away with a save and junior Lucas Saia had a shot stopped in the 62nd minute.
• Marin stopped Dylan Senra's shot in the 66th minute and Perez Colon created another chance in the 72nd minute that was saved after Salem State netted their second goal.
• Perez Colon attempted Clark's final shot in the 78th minute that was saved as Salem State won 2-0.
