WORCESTER, Mass. - Clark men's soccer (2-6-3) traveled across town to Worcester State (2-4-3) for a match and fell 1-0 to the Lancers on Tuesday night from John F. Coughlin Field.

How it Happened

• Senior Anyolo Makatiani put Clark's first shot of the game on target, but Andy Ramirez came away with a save in the fourth minute.
• Makatiani created another chance in the 21st minute that was saved and before the half, sophomore Diego Marin recorded a pair of saves to keep the match tied at 0-0.
• First-year Luca Echeumuna nearly got Clark on the board to open the second half, but his shot was stopped by Ramirez and after a save from Marin, the Lancers scored on a penalty kick to take a 1-0 edge.
• Marin recorded another save in the 70th minute and Makatiani attempted Clark's final shot of the match in the 80th minute that went just high as the Cougars fell 1-0.
