WORCESTER, Mass. – The Clark men's tennis team (3-6) welcomed Bridgewater State (0-3) to the Corash Tennis Courts for an early week match against the Bears and came away with a convincing 9-0 victory on Monday afternoon.

How it Happened

• In number one doubles, sophomore Ryan Hovey and first-year Graham Russo came away with an 8-3 win over Beatrice and Fiske.
• First-years Jacob Bernstein and Fergus Brady earned Clark's second point of the match with an 8-2 victory against Malinowski and Hebert in number three doubles.
• In number two doubles, sophomore Aidan Hurtado and first-year Sai Chanda rounded out doubles action with an 8-5 win over Krampf and Barros.
• Hovey also registered a victory in number one singles as he took down Beatrice 6-3, 6-1.
• Chanda became the second Cougar to win in both singles and doubles with a 6-2, 6-1 win.
• In number three singles, Hurtado earned a 6-2. 6-2 victory over Krampf.
• Sophomore Adrian Ramirez recorded his first win of the spring with a 6-1, 6-3 victory against Herbert.
• Seniors Matt Lee (No. 2) 6-4, 6-2 and Joshua Ofosu-Amoani (No. 5) 6-4, 7-6 (7-3) also registered victories.

Clark will be back in action on Wednesday when they welcome Springfield to the Corash Tennis Courts for a conference match beginning at 3:30 p.m.
