Clark and Coast Guard met on April 8 with the Cougars coming away with a 10-7 win.

Scouting the Bears
Coast Guard clinched a spot in the playoffs with a victory over Emerson. Offensively, the Bears are led by Taylor Gustafson, who has scored 28 goals and dished out eight assists. Caleb Holdridge leads the squad in assists with 18 and has also added 17 goals. Gaige Kruger also eclipsed the 20-goal mark with 21 goals. Oliver Burton leads the squad in ground balls and caused 26 turnovers. In the faceoff circle, Wyatt Rumpf leads the Bears in faceoff wins with 67. In goal, Dan Lucas is the team leader in saves with 181.
Scouting the Cougars
Clark clinched a playoff berth on April 15 with a 13-7 win over Wheaton and was named the fourth seed in the NEWMAC bracket that came out on April 29. In the meeting earlier this year that Clark won 10-7, graduate student Noah Skole and junior Attilio LaVecchia each netted three goals and dished out an assist. In net, graduate student Ryan Mickelson recorded 20 saves. On the season, graduate student Benjamin Hollerbach leads the team with 30 goals and has dished out 19 assists. Sophomore Matt Wells has also netted 20 goals and recorded nine assists. Senior Declan Fitzpatrick (12), junior Colin Howard (12), LaVecchia (11), and junior Patrick Liddy (11) have also netted double-digit goals. Graduate student Mark Zito leads the squad in faceoff wins with 163 and ground balls with 97. In net, Mickelson has registered a team-leading 166 saves.
