Women's Soccer Plays to 0-0 Draw at Brandeis

WALTHAM, Mass. – The Clark women's soccer team (4-0-1) traveled to Brandeis (3-0-2) for a non-conference match and battled with the Judges for 90 minutes, eventually coming away with a 0-0 draw on Tuesday night from Gordon Field.

How it Happened
  • Junior Anabella White recorded the first save of the match in the second minute off a shot from Samantha Kipperman.
  • White registered another save in the 20th minute off a Madison Sansone shot and junior Andrea Mortimer attempted a shot that went left of the mark as the teams were tied 0-0 in a defensive oriented first half.
  • Junior Isabella Ramirez nearly gave Clark the edge in the 52nd minute with a shot that was stopped and less than a minute later, Mortimer put a shot on goal that was also stopped as the Cougars applied pressure to the Judges backline.
  • Junior Cassandra Trevino also got a shot on goal in the 74th minute that was stopped and on the other end, White came away with a save to keep the match scoreless.
  • White recorded the final save of the match in the 81st minute as neither team attempted a shot over the final nine minutes as they battled to a 0-0 draw.

What's Next
