WORCESTER, Mass. - Clark men's soccer (2-3-3, 0-1-1 NEWMAC) played their first home NEWMAC game of the season against Springfield (2-3-2, 1-0-1 NEWMAC) on Saturday afternoon from Granger Field and battled to a 0-0 tie on senior day.

How it Happened
- DiStefano recorded a save in the eighth minute on a shot attempt from Chris Cruz and in the ninth minute, Tristan Moran hit the crossbar.
- First-year Charles Lopez attempted a header in the 17th minute that went just wide of the mark and neither team put a shot on target over the rest of the half as the defense's controlled the pace in the first half.
- Suppasuesanguan hit the crossbar early in the second half and Makatiani, junior Tyler Manley, and junior Lucas Saia each put shots just wide of the mark over the first 10 minutes.
- The Cougars earned a penalty kick in the 66th minute, but Noah Pote came away with a save on the attempt from Saia to keep the match tied.
- Saia followed the penalty kick up with a shot off the rebound that was also stopped by Pote and in the 73rd minute, Saia sent in a shot from outside the box that was stopped.
- DiStefano added a pair of saves over the final 12 minutes of action as the match ended tied in a 0-0 stalemate.
