Men's Tennis Closes Out Fall With 5-2 Win Over Colby-Sawyer

WORCESTER, Mass. – The Clark University men's tennis team (2-4) closed out the fall with a 5-2 victory over Colby-Sawyer (2-1) on Monday afternoon from the Kelsey Tennis Courts.

Doubles: Clark 3, Colby-Sawyer 0 Singles: Clark 4, Colby-Sawyer 2
  • Kirkorian competed in number one singles and recorded a 6-1, 7-5 victory over Homonnay.
  • In number four singles, Tabbara topped Jenson 6-2, 6-3.
  • Russo registered a 7-5, 6-2 victory in number five action against Brezzi.
  • Graduate student Tanner Honnef only lost one game across two sets with a 6-0, 6-1 win against Sampson in number six play.
  • In number three singles, Morris won four games in each set, but lost 4-6, 4-6 to Dvorek.
  • Shepherd-Johnson lost the first set 4-6 in number two play before retiring from the match.
What's Next
The Cougars will return to the court on Saturday, March 15 when they welcome MIT to the Corash Tennis Courts for a match beginning at 12:00 p.m.
