Rowing Reveals 2024 Fall Schedule

WORCESTER, Mass. - Clark University head rowing coach Michael McDonald unveiled the team's 2024 portion of their season, with the campaign beginning tomorrow morning from Lake Quinsigamond.

The scarlet and white will compete in three regattas this fall, opening with the Head of the Snake (Oct. 5). At last year's Head of the Snake, the novice eight placed second overall behind Williams, the V8 finished eighth, and the 2V8 placed 19th.

The Cougars will then compete in the annual Head of the Charles from the Charles River on Sunday, October 20. At the 2023 Head of the Charles, Clark's V8 finished 16th overall after starting in bow 13, placing ahead of Bates and WPI.

The fall will conclude with the Wormtown Chase on Saturday, October 26 from Lake Quinsigamond. Last year, the collegiate 4+ boat finished third, the V8 placed sixth, the 2V8 slotted in 10th, and the 3V8 closed out the event in 12th.
