WORCESTER, Mass. – The Clark University rowing team opened their 2024 portion of their schedule on Saturday morning from Lake Quinsigamond by competing at the Head of the Snake.
The Cougars competed against MIT, Holy Cross, WPI, Smith, URI, Colby, Vermont, and Mount Holyoke.
How it Happened
- In the women's collegiate 8, Clark's V8 of Sowbernika Rajesh, Katie Woods, Lucy Powdermaker, Anna Tinklenberg, Robbie Southall, Charlotte Leavitt, Danielle Chace, Brianna Bodner, and Anna Cavanagh clocked a time of 17:08.915 and placed 11th overall, which placed ahead of Vermont and Mount Holyoke.
- The Cougars 2V8 of Hadas Brownstein, Julia Kaiser, Abigale Luetjen, Carmella Martone, Isabel Gustavsson, Julia Bosco, Amelia Clark, Victoria Weirich-Freiburg, and Sara Parvin recorded a mark of 18:48.451 as the boat finished 23rd.

The scarlet and white will return to the water on Sunday, October 20 when they compete in the legendary Head of the Charles event from the Charles River.
