CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Clark men's tennis team (7-3, 0-1 NEWMAC) opened conference play with a 9-0 loss to No. 24 MIT (5-2, 1-0 NEWMAC) on Saturday afternoon from the Dupont Tennis Courts.

- In number four singles, Russo took a total of four games before ultimately falling 6-1, 6-3 to Nguyen.
- Kirkorian battled with Choudhary in number two singles and dropped the first set 6-4 and the second set 6-0.
- In number five singles, Hovey was edged 6-1-6-2 by Masuda.
- After falling 6-0 in set one, Honnef earned three games in the second set against Chakladar.
- Shepherd-Johnson (No. 1) and Seraj (No. 6) both dropped their matches 6-1, 6-1.
