WORCESTER, Mass. – The Clark University rowing team competed in their final regatta before the 2024 NEWMAC Championships against Trinity, WPI, Conn. College, and Colby on Saturday morning from Lake Quinsigamond.

How it Happened

• The Cougars V8 of Apple Gould-Schultz, Margaret Mathews, Charlotte Leavitt, Danielle Chace, Anna Tinklenberg, Emma McLellan, Katie Woods, Robbie Southall, and Gwyn Sonneveldt placed third in the final with a time of 7:21.89, which was ahead of Conn. College and Colby.
• Clark's 2V8 of Mira Mills, Anna Cavanagh, Julia Kaiser, Brianna Bodner, Lucy Powdermaker, Sydney Gruneiro, Abigale Luetjen, Carmella Martone, and Victoria Weirich-Freiberg finished third in their final with a mark of 7:45.63 to top Conn. College.
• In the 3V8, Hadas Brownstein, Jordan Cambre, Josephine Fitzgerald, Isabel Gustavsson, Julia Bosco, Amelia Clark, Lindsey Wilder, Sara Parvin, and Anastazia Salazar competed and clocked a 8:51.72 to place fourth.

What's Next
Clark will be back in action on Saturday when they compete at the 2024 NEWMAC Championships from Lake Quinsigamond beginning at 8:00 a.m.
